Client Lead CFO (100% remote)

As a Client Lead CFO at New Lyfe Accounting (NLA), you’ll be responsible for all client accounting functions. You’ll work closely with the Controller, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant on your team to deliver the highest quality of service. As the CFO, you’re responsible for leading your team through a successful client engagement. As a 100% remote role, you’ll have clear expectations and a high level of autonomy to crush your goals. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Financial reporting 
• WIP reporting 
• Forecasting
• Process evaluation and improvements 
• Overseeing other accounting functions
• Meeting cadences 
• Meeting with potential clients
• Communication with third parties
• Building long-lasting relationships with our clients
• Training and collaborating with team members 

How you’ll contribute:

• Performing month-end close
• WIP reporting 
• Financial reporting
• Cash projections
• Forecasting
• Reviewing team members’ work 
• Journal entries
• Leading client meetings
• Strategic planning
• Assisting with audits and reviews
• Communicating with third parties like banks and surety professionals 

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 3 years of accounting experience (required)
• Construction accounting experience (required)
• Accounting Degree (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• The ability to work remotely and independently 
• The ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to interact with clients 
• Proficiency in Excel/GSuite
