Meet Your Teacher
I’m Jessica Krause, founder and CEO of New Lyfe Accounting (NLA). Growing up, I spent lots of time around the trades. My family owned a sheet metal business where I developed a deep respect for construction and its notoriously hard workers (my friends and family).
Though I began my career in public accounting, I eventually grew to serve as CFO for a commercial electrical contractor. While in that position, I realized the need for a specialized accounting firm within construction, one that understood the industry’s complexities, processes, and people.
From that discovery came NLA, a specialty firm helping construction companies navigate the industry’s unique financial landscape. More recently, this vision also led me to create Be Your Own CFO.
I know that working with an outsourced CFO isn’t always feasible, but that shouldn’t limit your access to expert financial tools. With these courses, it’s my goal to make our expertise accessible, providing you with the same strategies used by our leading construction clients.
If you’re ready to understand your numbers, strengthen your construction accounting skills, and make major progress toward your growth goals, Be Your Own CFO is for you.
See you inside!
