Senior Accountant (100% remote)

As a Senior Accountant at New Lyfe Accounting (NLA), you’ll be responsible for day-to-day client accounting functions and financial reporting. You’ll work closely with the CFO, Controller, and Staff Accountants on the engagement to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients. As a 100% remote role, you’ll have clear expectations and a high level of autonomy to crush your goals.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• WIP reporting 
• Financial reporting 
• Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Sales/use tax reporting
• Union benefits 
• Overseeing other accounting functions 

How you’ll contribute:

• Performing month-end close
• WIP reporting
• Financial reporting
• Reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Lead client meetings
• Assist with audits as needed 

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 3 years of accounting experience (required)
• Construction accounting experience (required)
• Accounting Degree (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• The ability to work remotely and independently 
• The ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to interact with clients 
• Proficiency in Excel/GSuite
